The tour starts at the train station in Winterberg and first runs through the tourist resort to St. Georgs-Schanze with a wonderful all-round view of the Hochsauerland. A beautiful forest path takes you to the most famous mountain in North Rhine-Westphalia, the Kahler Asten. There you can climb the Astenturm or hike the heir path with its 15 stations and the Lenne spring. Cross the forest to reach the "Helleplatz" car park and from there take the bus back to Winterberg. The route continues through the mixed forest to the resort of Züschen. The tour can also be ended here and the bus can be taken back to the starting point. But if you want to hike further, you will experience a surprise at the end of the tour. The light has formed a low mountain range here. Numerous gullies, small waterfalls and rugged rock walls take you into a wild world of vegetation. You can reach the Kurpark again via the alpine gorge and bridge path in the Helletalklamm.
