This fairly leisurely loop starts at Winterberg railroad station. From there, the trail leads close to the Helle along idyllic forest paths and finally across meadows to Elkringhausen. On the other side of the Helle, the trail leads back and passes the small Bodensee lake, where it is worth taking a break. A slight ascent goes back to the station.
