From the train station you hike through the Kurpark, the old town of Winterberg and over the Kreuzweg around the Kreuzberg. On well-paved paths you hike down into the Orketal. Then you continue through the Helletal back to the starting point. Nice loop with good views. Dogs can mostly run freely on the paths (with the exception of the city and the nature reserve).
