Best trails near Burg-Kanzel

The tour starts at the train station in Winterberg and first runs through the tourist resort to St. Georgs-Schanze with a wonderful all-round view of the Hochsauerland. A beautiful forest path takes you to the most famous mountain in North Rhine-Westphalia, the Kahler Asten. There you can climb the Astenturm or hike the heir path with its 15 stations and the Lenne spring. Cross the forest to reach the "Helleplatz" car park and from there take the bus back to Winterberg.
