On this tour, a lot can be learned about Berlin's history on this circular route. The tour starts at Alexanderplatz S-Bahn station, so travelling by public transport is recommended. The tour crosses the Liebknecht Bridge to reach the Museum Island. Next to the "Staatsoper" (Opera House) "Unter den Linden" is the memorial to the book burning. Via Gendarmenmarkt, the tour continues to Checkpoint Charlie, Potsdamer Platz and the Memorial to the Murdered Jews of Europe. After a detour to the Reichstag, the tour continues to the Brandenburg Gate, Leipziger Straße and over the Mühlendamm Bridge back to the starting point.
