Von Berlin-Ostbahnhof zum Viktoriapark

We start at Ostbahnhof, crossing the Schillingbrücke bridge along the beautiful Engeldamm. After a short detour, the route then takes a rather unspectacular route across Moritzplatz, Oranienstraße and Lindenstraße. At the Jewish Museum (highly recommended), turn right along a pedestrian path. Turn left briefly at Friedrichstraße and then immediately right again onto Rahel-Varnhagen-Promenade. At the end of the promenade is the Tommy Weisbecker House. A small highlight from the outside. Continue straight ahead along Stresemannstraße, then turn left into Großbeerenstraße. Großbeerenstraße is really beautiful. Old Wilhelminian style houses with old Berlin corner pubs. We continue along Großbeerenstraße, from where we can already see Kreuzberg. This is a rather unusual sight in the middle of Berlin. The hill is surrounded by a small park. A waterfall cascades down from the top to Großbeerenstraße. Up here you have a wonderful view over the city, and in summer you can spend the evening here and watch the sunset.
