Denkmal Tour Berlin

A tour that commemorates the Jews murdered during German fascism. The starting point is Oranienburger Straße. It goes along the "Missing house" and the Historical Jewish Cemetery. The Anne Frank Center is located in the Hackesche Höfe. You can also rest and eat in the courtyards. Afterwards you walk to Rosenstraße, one of the oldest streets in Berlin. Here you will find the memorial column and a sculpture commemorating the Rosenstraße protest: in February 1943, the Jews still remaining in Berlin were arrested and taken to the building at Rosenstraße 2-4. Relatives (often wives) gathered in front of the building and loudly demanded their release (as a result, all those arrested were probably released). Take the S-Bahn from Hackescher Markt to Friedrichstraße, where you will find the memorial "Züge in das Leben - Züge in den Tod; trains to death - trains to life 1938-1939", which commemorates both the children who were rescued and those who were murdered under German fascism. Take the S-Bahn to Grunewald, where the memorial at platform 17 is located.
