Kehlsteinhaus - Hoher Göll - Purtschellerhütte

Demanding mountain tour with climbing passages in the Berchtesgadener Land. The scenic and demanding tour begins at the car park on Purtschellerstrasse. First, a paved path leads from the parking lot up to the Kehlsteinhaus. Several buses arrive at the Kehlstein car park on the weekends, so it can get a bit crowded here. There is a toilet here and the possibility to stop off in the Kehlsteinhaus. On the Mannlsteig it gets quieter again. The via ferrata has difficulty level C and leads up and down along the Kehlstein and then at a saddle to the right to the summit cross of the Hoher Göll. There it goes over a large scree field and after that, the impressive panorama can be enjoyed from up there. The descent in the direction of the Purtschellerhaus leads over a C-via ferrata, the Schustersteig. There is a risk of falling rocks here, so you should bring climbing equipment with a helmet.
