This beautiful route in the Bavarian Prealps is a certified premium hiking trail - the first of its kind in the Tegernsee-Schliersee Alpine region. The round tour leads along the Leitzach through a typical Alb area with green meadows, rolling hills and shady forests. Despite a distance of a good 12 km, this route is also suitable for (slightly older) children. It is possible to arrive by bus or train (from Fischbachau-Hammer train station, it takes about 45 minutes to get to the starting point Fischbachau at the church) and there are refreshment stops along the way.
