A wonderful hike that leads to the natural spectacle of Leutaschklamm gorge - here the Ache river has carved its way through the Wetterstein limestone and created a wild and mystical landscape. The gorge can be visited free of charge between May and October via steel structures. However, there is an entrance fee to visit the waterfall trail.
Overall, the hike follows fairly easy and well-marked paths. However, a head for heights is required in the gorge, as it leads on gratings over the rushing water.
The starting point can be reached by train and there are also car parks here. There are several places to stop for refreshments.
