The starting point of the hiking trail is at the sign near the Zollhaus inn. A forest path on the Nurtschweg leads past the Kleeberg, the highest elevation in the municipality of Treffelstein. After leaving the forest you have a wonderful view of the surroundings. The Stations of the Cross are the companions until the markings point in the direction of the Fürstenhof. Past this lovingly cared for property, it goes on forest and field paths over the Schwabenberg, where the Nurtschweg joins again, to the starting point.
