Great tour in Upper Bavaria when high mountain tours are not possible due to the weather. The hike leads from Jachenau via the Walchenalm and the war memorial to the Schwarzeck and the Rabenkopf. The descent to the Staffelalm and on to the Kochelalm and Rappinalm leads through the Rappinschlucht gorge to Jachenau. In spring, residual snow can make conditions more difficult, especially on the section from the war memorial to the Rabenkopf, which can be classified as alpine. The river has to be crossed several times in the valley.
