Shortly after Kulz and immediately after the Prackendorfer Moos you come to the fork in the Goldsteig. At a crossroads in the middle of the forest, the hiking trail splits into the north and south routes. The southern route is by no means the easier route - on the contrary: while the rear tour continues to climb, slowly but steadily, the route over the southern foothills is characterized by many ups and downs, but also has many advantages and above all wonderful distant views. Via Dautersdorf it is leisurely but scenically extremely attractive to the pilgrimage chapel Schoenbuchen and from here downhill on beautiful forest paths and paths to Kröblitz. Without any effort worth mentioning, the Goldsteig continues to a signpost that leads to a small detour to the legendary Druid Stone. On the way back, you will soon reach the Count Palatine residence of Neunburg vorm Wald with its beautiful, historic old town centre.
