This route begins at the Kurt Schumacher Bridge and leads along the Ruhr for the first half. It offers many beautiful views, ideal at sunset. The trail passes new and old power stations showing the importance of industry in the area, especially the steel bridges. On the way back, the path leads past several train stations.

From the Ruhrbrücke (P) in Steele on foot to the E-Steele S-Bahn station, from there by train to Hattingen, with the rafting boat down the Ruhr to Steele, then continue by bike. Refreshments: Tip local Finca Bar Celona.
