Best trails near Seelbrunnen

This route starts in Rimbach and leads to the nearby peaks of the Upper Bavarian Forest Nature Park. The peaks along the way include the Farrenruck, the Bärenriegel, the Eckstein, the Schwarzriegel and the Ahornreigel. On the way there are several places to stop and many great views.

This circular hiking trail starts in Hohenwarth and leads to the Hohenbogen service hut, which is located next to the Kohlriegel. The path first crosses the Regen river, then leads through Oberzettling and Unterzettling and enters the forest on the ascent to the Hohenbogen Diensthütte. The way back is of course the same way.

The starting point is the village square in Rimbach. The Hohenbogenstrasse is heading north. Just before the former swimming pool, turn left. The forest path runs to the forest road called Grenzweg. Here you keep to the left, passing the hiking car park. Soon after, you can discover the markings of the Baierweg. Follow these markings in the direction of Hohenbogen.
