This route leads in a large loop through the hilly and wooded area south of Hohenwarth. The trail's name comes from the small human settlements that are passed along the trail. Aside from these locations, the trail is heavily wooded with some patches for good views of the area. There is an opportunity to visit the nearby peaks if desired.

Head north from the fire station, leaving the school on the left, via a meadow path and further on the tarred road to reach the bridge at the Hohenwarther Mühle and cross it. Now follow the road to Thening and cross the town until you come to a sharp left turn. Here the markings point you to the right onto a forest road, which you follow to the Schönblick mountain inn. From the terrace you have a wonderful view of the place of pilgrimage Neukirchen b.Hl.Blut and the Czech Republic.

This circular hiking trail starts in Hohenwarth and leads to the Hohenbogen service hut, which is located next to the Kohlriegel.
