The Nossentiner / Schwinzer Heide Nature Park is located off the beaten track in the largest contiguous forest area in Mecklenburg-Vorpommern. It is home to some of the most beautiful clear water lakes in Central Europe, which provide a great habitat for white-tailed eagles, cranes and chattering greylag geese.
