Promising cross-country skiing in the Bavarian Forest.
It is the "red" LL tour and most of the "blue" high-altitude trail from the Ruselabsatz. The tour is groomed for both classic runners and skaters. The detour (as in the present track) to the mountain guard hut is worthwhile to see the exact snow depth on the measuring pole. Note: It is best to walk the tour counter-clockwise so that there are no conflicts when the cross-country ski trails are busy. Alternative starting point at Greising, where there is a floodlit practice trail.
