This trail on the beautiful island of Rügen leads from Sassnitz along the coast through the UNESCO World Heritage Jasmund National Park to the Auguste-Viktoria viewpoint and back again through magnificent beech forest.
You can use the car park at the starting and finishing points in Sassnitz or travel there by bus. The path leads over a stony beach to the n-4 Kieler Badestrand marker. There, the designated section of beach is used to climb up to Auguste-Viktoria-Sicht. Once at the top, it is definitely worth taking a break to enjoy the magnificent view before heading back through the forest.
Caution! Due to the risk of falling, do not cross the marked areas at the edge of the cliff.
