The immediate border location makes the Osser interesting - in earlier times for smugglers, today for hikers. Since 1995, the Osser can once again be climbed from all four points of the compass. The tour from Lohberg - the so-called Osser Trail - is labelled Lo1. It starts from the Osser car park in Oberlohberg. The moderately difficult to difficult path through the mixed mountain forest, which seems to cling to the slopes, climbs steadily. Here you can feel the peace and quiet.
