Panoramic hiking trail in Lam, Bavaria.
From the tourist information centre, follow the signs via Kinogasse to Panoramapark / Kurpark Lam. Here the trail descends on an agricultural path next to the panorama park to the farm at the Ginglmühle, where the hiking trail joins a road. Turn right and go straight over the roundabout to Frahelsbruck. The La7 runs alongside the road on the pavement. Before the road in Frahelsbruck rises steeply, turn left onto a narrower road, which ends after approx. 300 metres and continues as a forest path.
Cross the Weißer Regen on a bridge and continue along the forest road through a subway. Immediately behind it, the path meets the Lamer Winkel-Arber cycle path, turn right here. After the short ascent of approx. 100m, cross the railway track at an unrestricted crossing and continue to follow the signs for La7. Now follows a steep ascent on a forest path up to Einödhof Trailling. However, the path does not lead directly to the farm, but joins the road that connects the individual farms about 300 metres from the Einödhof. After turning left here, stay on the slightly ascending road and you will soon see the next farmstead on the right, Vorderöd, to which a gravelled path leads.
Once at the farm, the path continues to the left as a beautiful meadow path to the Einödhof Hinteröd. Past this farm, the narrow path leads briefly downhill into a wooded area, where a small stream is crossed on a bridge with a votive plaque. The rooty path winds its way through the forest until it joins the road leading to the Hinterwaldeck farmstead. Below the farmstead, the road or hiking trail La7 and La6 runs in the direction of Einödhof Vorderwaldeck. Shortly before Vorderöd, turn left onto a forest path, which leads into the valley via the district of Lissen and back to the starting point via the municipal road. The chapels at all the forest farms are well worth a visit.
Refreshments and regional specialities are available at the Vorderöd, Hinteröd and Hinterwaldeck farms
