The route is the course of the 20th hike at the winter solstice of the SBB Dresden.
It starts at the Elbkai in Bad Schandau and takes you along the magnificent panorama path to Lichtenhain. As the name suggests, it promises wonderful views.
From Lichtenhain we continue through the Knechtsbachtal, following the stream of the same name. At the Kirnitzschtal / Knechtsbachtal junction, the Kirnitzschtalstrasse continues a bit on the Alte Strasse in the direction of a popular highlight of Saxon Switzerland - the impressive Felsentor Kuhstall.
About the Räumichtweg the way back is gradually started on beautiful forest paths.
