MTB Tour: W10 Gipfelrunde

Demanding mountain bike tour in the Harz National Park, Saxony-Anhalt This mountain bike route leads from Schierke through the heart of the Harz National Park. The famous Brocken can be reached via the Brocken Road, from the summit of which there are magnificent views of the low mountain range landscape. A downhill section follows over a slab path to the Scharfensteinklippe before you reach the Eckertalsperre. Some great trails await here. After another challenging ascent to the Dreieckiger Pfahl, a great trail descent back in the direction of Schierke can be enjoyed. Except for the section between the Eckertalsperre and the Dreieckiger Pfahl, this route is well marked. Many of the trails are also used as hiking trails - consideration for pedestrians is required. There are places to stop for refreshments and the route can be reached by bus and train.
