The start is at the Schierke train station. From there, it goes close to the center of Schierke on the Brockenstraße in the direction of the Brocken. Arriving at the summit, you can enjoy the magnificent view, visit the summit stone or follow the loop. The Bahnparallelweg takes you back to the train station.
A good part of the route is fun over Hill and Dale. Sturdy shoes are recommended.
