This great cycle tour leads along beautiful paths through the former moorland with its old farms and birch avenues. In the artists' village of Fischerhude, a short cultural break at the Otto Modersohn Museum can be taken. The route returns to the starting point in Worpswede via Lilienthal. Here, art and landscape come together in a charming way: in 1889, the artists Fritz Mackensen, Otto Modersohn, Hans am Ende and Fritz Overbeck founded their artists' colony in Worpswede.
