Varied and promising circular hike in the Harz Mountains near Bad Harzburg, Lower Saxony.
This idyllic circular hike starts at the car park at the Romkerhall waterfall and leads steadily uphill to interesting rock formations with curious names such as B. "Grotte", "Fig Tree Cliff", "Mousetrap" and "Witches' Kitchen". Then it goes to the Kästehaus and the "Kästeklippen". From here you have a wonderful view of the Okertal. The descent runs via the upper Romkerkopf-Weg.
