This hike starts at the parking lot at the Okertalsperre reservoir. Starting with a great view, the route follows the shore for a while and finally climbs up to the Ahrendsberg cliffs. Forest and open areas alternate. The trail continues along the Jägerstieg to the waterfall. Boat trips can be taken at the Okertalsperre before or after the hike.
Due to tree felling work, the path may be blocked by lying trees, which can be bypassed.
