Varied, beautiful hiking trail in the Harz Nature Park, Lower Saxony.
The tour starts at the Oker Schützenhaus, west of Bad Harzburg. It is a nice place to stop off here after the hike.
The trail leads along steep cliffs through the Oker valley to the "kingdom" of Romkerhall. Here is the Romkehall waterfall, an artificial waterfall on the Romke cliff. The nearby Ahrendsberg cliffs are particularly popular with climbers. Afterwards, the old Harz road can be taken back to the starting point.
It is also possible to take the train to Oker station and then the bus to the starting point.
