On an 80 km long loop, the Ith-Hils-Weg runs over two distinctive mountain ranges in the eastern Weser Uplands. The first stage of the certified quality trail begins in the pretty town of Coppenbrügge. From here it goes over the Ith ridge, past impressive rock formations and up to the Ith tower. There is an overnight accommodation (campground) at the Humboldtsee, which can be reached via an access path. You should definitely have enough provisions with you for this stage.
