Challenging and beautiful loop in the Harz National Park.
The starting point is the parking lot at the game reserve in Bad Harzburg. At the end of the road, go straight ahead into the forest and heathland. A steep ascent follows, which leads to the first wonderful rock formations, such as the Elfenstein. Continue to the Great Staircase Stone and Feigenbaumklippe. Small tributaries of the Radau finally lead to the Radau waterfall. On the way there are some stamps of the Harzer hiking needle. Due to the length and the climbs, a good level of fitness is required. Sturdy shoes and some provisions are recommended. There are a few places to stop along the way.
