Bad Harzburg - Brocken

Challenging MTB tour in the Harz National Park. The varied and strenuous route leads past the Eckertalsperre via the Hirtenstieg to the Brocken. The ascent is sometimes so steep there that you have to get off and push yourself. On the other hand, once you have reached the top, you have made the greatest effort and from now on the rest of the way is downhill with a slight incline. Fabulous views, idyllic streams and incredibly vast forests await on the way. Accessible by bus and train. There are rest stops in Bad Harzburg, Ilsenburg, on the Brocken, in the ranger station and in the Molkenhaus. Highlights: - Brocken - ranger station - Molkenhaus - idyllic natural landscapes
