Bramsche - Alfsee - Bersenbrück

Long hike along the Hase from Bramsche to Bersenbrück. The starting point and end point of this hike through the Haseniederung are the respective train stations on the north-west railway line Osnabrück Hbf. Large parts of the route lead over the Hasedeich, which does not have paved paths at all points, so that a few passages may have to be bypassed in very damp weather . The first station is the distribution structure, at which part of the Hasewater is diverted via the feeder towards Alfsee (rain retention basin). The rest of the flow continues in the Tiefen Hase and via a pipe to the Hohe Hase. The suggested route follows the feeder to the Alfsee, reaches the biological station and half-circles the reserve basin to the north. “Since 1994 it has been designated as a nature reserve.
