Beautiful loop in the Harz Mountains, Lower Saxony. This hike into the Harz National Park begins near the spa gardens in the mountain town of Altenau. From here, the path first leads to the Wolfswarte, from whose summit there are fantastic panoramic views of the Harz mountains. Torfhaus is reached a short time later. The hike can also be divided into 2 days and combined with an overnight stay in Torfhaus. From here the path leads along the Kellwasser stream to the Okertalsperre. Following the Oker, it then goes back to Altenau, where the day of hiking can end with a relaxing stop.
