The hiking route leads from the Alpe Weiherle (parking lot and bus stop) on partly stony hiking trails and stairs first to the Grüntenhaus with refreshments available (note opening times). From here it is not far to the summit of the Grünten with spectacular views of the Allgäu Alps.
