The start is at the parking lot very close to the “Erzgrubenbähnle HolzerPfad” bus stop. It's uphill - and fitness is required here, because the destination is the Grünten, known as the guardian of the Alps, with its transmission mast. Fantastic panoramic views await connoisseurs here! It is nice to take a break in the Grüntenhaus before heading off to the last few meters in altitude. The Grüntenhaus is open in the summer months (see tips). It is also possible to take a snack in the Alpe Obere Schwande and recover here. The Schwandealpe is open between May and September (see tips).
