Great hike! This trail areas comes out of nowhere. If you were just driving through the town nearby (Winkel), you’d never imagine what lies in its forest. This hike had it all - waterfalls, caves, rivers, mountain views and a stroll throw an old farm....plus, if you’re thirsty, there’s even a few places to grab a drink along the trail. To note: bring money, as you have to pay to use the trail (near the waterfall), as apparently its private land. €3.50 per person. I wouldn’t advise kids come along for this hike, as it does get steep with some narrow trail edges at points, but mom (65 years old) did manage to maneuver it okay. All & all, lovely hike. Hidden gem of a trail!
