Beautiful mountain tour in the Oberallgäu, Bavaria.
The tour starts at the "Kammeregg car park", which is subject to a charge. The route leads via the Höfle Alp to the Grünten and outstanding panoramic views can be enjoyed along the way. It is nice to stop off at the Alpe Kammeregg, which is open from 10 am in summer (closed on Mondays) and also open from 10 am in winter (closed on Mondays and Tuesdays).
For a shortcut, the Grüntenbahn railway from the Hochwartspitze back down into the valley to Altach can be taken for a fee.
