Walk south on the shores of the Spitzingsee and follow the course of the Rote Valepp. At the Waitzinger Alm Winterstube you turn left, now you walk along the Pfanngraben. It goes on to the Rotwandhaus and from there you climb the Rotwand. You return to the Hermann-Kleber-Weg and now hike - steadily downhill - back to the starting point.
