The hiking trail leads from the center of Schönau through forests and river valleys on the initially wide forest road "Hochbahn" and later partly on stony paths, where it can also drop steeply to the side, up to the popular Jenner vantage point. From here you have a spectacular view of the Königssee. On the way you pass the Schneibsteinhaus and Jenneralm. Both are seasonally managed rest stops. You can go down with the Jennerbahn.
