The Zellertal - a gem of nature: The hike begins in Steinbühl and first leads down into the valley of the Kaitersbach. Along the small side road you soon come to the hamlets of Weidenhof and Leckern. The charming landscape always offers wonderful views in the direction of the Kaitersberg massif. After crossing the Kaitersbach, the path climbs towards Bärndorf, where you cross the main road. On forest paths and forest roads, you now hike up towards Kaitersberg. After a long forest path passage, past the Nicklstein (858 m) and Lichtenstein (820 m), the trail goes down in the direction of Buchberg (stop for refreshments: Steinbühler Hof) and Bonried.
