The hiking trail to the Großer Riedelstein starts at the hiking car park near Eschlsaign. Follow the hiking signs uphill to the forest road and from here a bit to the right along the well-paved path, the ascent to the Großer Riedelstein begins with the natural monument "Waldschmidtdenkmal", which was built in honor of the local writer "Maximilian Waldschmidt". The hiking trail continues to the Kleiner Riedelstein. From here the descent takes place around the corner to the starting point at the hiking car park near Eschlsaign. There is an opportunity to stop off at Berggasthof Eck. Tip: Wonderful view from Kl. Riedelstein and Gr. Riedelstein (Waldschmidt monument).
