This demanding hike begins at the National Park Information Center southwest of Lake Hintersee at the Hirschbichl hiking car park, which is subject to a fee.
The Kammerlinghorn is located in the high ice massif. The paths there are well marked and developed. From the car park, it first goes through the Klausbach valley with its legendary suspension bridges to the Bindalm near the German-Austrian border at the end of the Klausbach valley.
