This is a relatively easy hike in the Berchtesgaden National Park, starting at the Hintersee (accessible by bus / paid parking). It can be walked in both directions and makes a small loop around the Halskopf, which is almost 1300 meters high. However, the paths are well developed and climb up to the Halsalm relatively easily, so that it is not too difficult. The short distance is ideal for a family hike. Back at the lake you can stop at the Seeklause.
