Extreme MTB Marathon Pfronten 17

Extreme route MTB Marathon Pfronten 17 is a legendary route through the Allgäu Alps, known for its high physical demands and wide panoramic views. The route leads over three mountains, including the Edelsberg 1,525m and the Breitenberg 1,670m. The terrain varies between smooth asphalt, wide forest paths and more technically demanding single trails with loose rocks. A well-known local tradition on this route is the folding bike world championship, in which participants conquer the steep climbs to the Hochalphütte on old folding bikes. The route also leads past the historic Kappeler Alp and offers views of the Pfronten valley and the Tannheim mountains.
