The Allgäu Panorama Marathon has been held once a year since 2009 and offers something for everyone—from the Kids Run to this ultra marathon. Since there is only a slight elevation gain, you don’t need to bring a change of clothes. The race starts at the Allgäu Outlet Center and finishes at the indoor pool in Wonnemar (800 meters from the start). A trained runner will need about 10 hours to complete the course. Those who have difficulty running downhill should plan on 11 hours instead. The time limit is 12 hours, and the course record is 6:24 hours. The route consists mainly of forest trails and paved roads; only the final section follows a longer trail.
