Panoramic, official hiking trail of Hochschwarzwald Tourismus GmbH in the southern Black Forest near Todtnauberg, Baden-Württemberg.
The hike begins in Todtnauberg and leads over the summit of the Stübenwasen where the longest bench in the world is located. From there it goes to the Feldberg summit, the highest mountain in Baden-Württemberg at 1493 meters. From the Feldberg observation tower, there is a great view over the other peaks of the Black Forest. The hike also leads past the Haus der Natur to the legendary Feldsee lake at the foot of the Feldberg summit. The route ends at the Caritashaus parking lot.
This hike can be reached by bus and train (Todtnauberg bus stops) and there are parking facilities at the starting point for those arriving by car. The route is therefore ideal as a day trip from Freiburg.
