This is a short walk from Essen main station to Essen-Borbeck station. After passing through the university district, you get onto the Rheinische Bahn, which takes you past Krupp Park and Niederfeldsee. The Rheinische Bahn then merges into the Borbeck station cycle path and makes its way to Borbeck-Mitte.
