This is a lovely walk from Martins Tank Campground in Yalgorup National Park. The path is very flat and it can be walked or cycled. This walk is entirely dependent on low water levels in the lake and may not be possible depending on recent rainfall.
On the eastern bank of the lake you can view some of earth's first known lifeforms Trombolites.
It's recommended to attempt this walk at sunrise of around sunset to get the best pictures of the lake and to avoid the heat.
