Amazing walk! Lots of things to see. Caves, little pools and much more! There's a lot of steps but it's well worth it! If you come to the Blue Mountains, you must do this walk!

Fantastic easy hike with great eastern views. Well signed and a well worn trail. We went up on a winter morning and it couldn’t have been better. Blue bird day and the perfect temp. Definitely recommend this one if you’re taking someone new to hiking. The trip to Bare Rock is well worth it to see the range to the north in all its glory!

A quick and simple walk with great views.

Beautiful views, and fun rock climbing opportunities along the way

Great track and great views

Awesome beginners hike for the whole family. Drop offs at the top, but suitable for kids who will follow directions. Carpark gets busy at sunrise and mornings on weekends.

Awesome challenge if you're not scared of heights and have some rock scrambling experience.

I love this bushwalk / mountain climb. It’s great for the whole family, requires average fitness. One of my kids gets to top red faced and exhausted, another runs most of the way and still has the endurance to run down again!

Especially nice on a cloudy and misty day...

Great track.. slightly washed out due to storms

It’s a circular trail with decent incline/decline at the valley. I had numerous encounters with lyrebirds and kookaburra. It’s a nice quick morning walk to start the day.

Great little walk with whale watching vantage spots and some local history. Beautiful beaches.

Did this hike March 19, 2018. Excellent full day hike. Well marked. I started from the Golden Stairs and worked my way to the Ruined Castle and Mount. Solitary. I would say the hike out there was more moderate than the listed difficult with only a few difficult sections (i.e. scrambling rocks to get to top of Mount Solitary and Ruined Castle for the view points). Started bright and early and got to Mount Solitary by half day to beat the heat. Brings lots of water. Returned same route but continued on along the Federal Pass which more difficult, ending at Scenic World (took cable car back up at the end of the day)

amazing! highly recommend it
take plenty of water!

Beautiful view, would recommend going counter clockwise to avoid climbing the stairs at the end!

Great hike, only done it twice so far; the last time was for the sunrise. highly recommend having a good level of fitness as it is all stairs.

great hike, but be careful. The track is ridiculously slippery especially when going through river crossings.

Amazing, absolutely perfect

I completed this in 6 and a half hours, including approx 20mins spent at the summit. I am not super fit. I did not overly prepare. I did take water, wore appropriate clothing and footwear. Take plenty of mini breaks (read: 30secs-1min). You’ll make it. :-) I do plan to do this again at some point. It was cloudy when I climbed, so am hopeful I can pre-plan (as much as I can) for no clouds.

Great walking track. I did this track today with my partner & 4 year old daughter. We found it an easy but very enjoyable walk. We did the scribbly trail but instead of looping back around we took a left and took another trail which took us closer to the water were we seen and heard lots of birds. Please note if you don't have an NSW national parks pass you will need to pay to enter Mitchell Park its $8 per car for the day. There are a few toilet blocks inside and a couple of nice picnic tables, so pack a lunch!

Lovely walk taking in a few different landscapes. You can make it a loop with just a little walking on the road between start and finish. Easy terrain.

Some bush bashing but amazing

Love this track

The trail gets worn over the years, some loose rocks on trail, be sure to choose landing carefully when descending.

Some rock scrambling required after the metal staircase.

One of the best hikes in WA!!! The views are well worth the elevated trek. Definitely bring some energising snacks and lots of water. Ideally the hiking bags with an integrated hydration pack to save time. Will be paying attention to the weather forecast. Would love to see snow up there!!
