This is a picturesque coastal walk through peppermint tree forest from Lights Beach to Waterfall Beach.
The track runs parallel with the Bibbulum Track for part of its length. You can take a quick detour to explore Lake William and a small waterfall close by to Lights Beach. The views over the rugged coast as you approach Waterfall Beach are stunning on clear days.

The route begins on the Munda Biddi Trail, a newly opened track in the area, which showcases the best of Elephant Rocks, Madfish Bay and Waterfall Beach. The large granite rock formations get their name from their likeness to a herd of large elephants. The short but popular walk runs around the headland to the cove and onto the beach, it offers great views from many points and different perspectives of the rocks. Be aware that access to the beach may not be possible depending on the conditions, during large seas it can be dangerous to go down onto the sand.
Trail reviews for William Bay National Park
One of the most picturesque hikes I've done in a while. Changing landscape makes it a wonderful hike. Highly recommend. Just before reaching William Bay campsite (coming from Lights Beach) take a left turn to reach a rocky outcrop. The view is breathtaking and so much fun exploring the rocks.
Walk was actually just William Bay to Denmark. Very enjoyable
